  1. On arrival : Keys may be collected on the Saturday from 4.00 pm.
  2. Departure : : The tenants must leave the accommodation before 10.00 am the following Saturday and return the keys.
  3. Inventory of the premises : All complaints must be indicated on arrival. At your demand, we may carry out an inventory on arrival and on departure. Any degradation must be replaced or deducted from the deposit.
  4. Use of the premises : : The tenant may make good use and enjoy the premises in a peaceful manner. On departure, the tenant is committed to returning the premises to the same cleanliness as found on arrival. All repairs will be at the tenant’s cost. The number of tenants must not exceed the number registered, unless an exception is accepted by the owner.
  5. Behaviour and neighbourly terms : The tenants are committed to avoiding loud noises after 10.00 pm, maintaining the premises clean and using the barbecue with safety.
  6. Swimming-pool : The swimming-pool is at your disposal, it is not for your exclusive use, and parents are under the obligation to supervise their children.

    According to law n°2003-9 of January 3rd 2003 relative to swimming-pools’ security for children under 5 years old and security devices norms NFP 90-306, NFP 90-307, NFP 90-308 and NFP 90-309, we have set up an alarm of standard security norm. We also have added a non-standard wire fence around the swimming-pool for dissuasive purpose.
    Two gates with keys and latches allow you to enter this area.
    We will give you a key to open these gates and we remind you the essential advice to protect your children while swimming  :

    • Equip your children with floaties while they are swimming,
    • An adult must always supervise the children during swimming,
    • The alarm must stay on, do not deactivate it,
    • After swimming, take all the toys and objects out to avoid children to be tempted to return to the swimming-pool,
    • When you get out of the swimming area, do not forget to lock the gates and put the latches back on,
    • Always keep an eye on your children and be extra careful for children under 5.

    In extreme cases, don’t forget saving moves :

    • Mouth-to-mouth,
    • cardiopulmonary resuscitation,
    • Call the Firemen (they have medical background in France) or doctors :

      • Phone # “15” for “SAMU” (Emergency medical unit)

  7. Other areas : Children are supervised by their parents as we refuse all responsibility.
  8. Bedrooms : for the respect of following tenants, it is forbidden to smoke in the bedrooms.
    Animals
    are not permitted in the bedrooms.
    Hygiene : beds are fitted with « undersheets » and we ask you to put your sheets on top.
  9. Kitchen and miscellaneous : you have two rubbish bins at your disposal, one for vegetable matter, and the other for plastic bottles, metal containers and cardboard containers.
    These rubbish bins are emptied into the big containers situated near the water tower.
    Glass bottles are to be thrown away in a container situated behind the Church.
    Gas: for your security, don’t forget to close the gas supply;
    Electricity : During storms, it is possible that the circuit-breaker turns off, you may switch the electricity back on via the circuit-breaker which is situated near our front door.
  10. Cancellation :
    The cancellation of a rental by a tenant must be carried out by a recorded delivery letter (certified mail). Refunds are carried out in accordance with the following practice :
    • Cancellation 3 months before the stay : deposit refunded in total.
    • Cancellation between 2 and 3 months before the stay : 75% of deposit refunded.
    • Cancellation between 1 and 2 months before the stay : 50% of deposit refunded.
    • Cancellation less than 1 month before the stay : 100% of the deposit will be collected by the owner for the loss sustained.
  11. Insurance: The tenant is obliged to insure the guest house during their rental period and must verify with their insurance company if holiday insurance is available.
